Advisory Services
MCIT can support organisations throughout the process of identification and implementation of their specific IT requirements based on its availability of qualified IT professionals with experience in the actual design, implementation and management of IT solutions for a wide-range of organisations operating in different environments and business sectors. In addition to this, MCIT can rely on its access to consulting resources from organisations such as Dell, Microsoft, SAP, NCR, Cisco and others to ensure that clients are provided with the proper advice and support based on their actual specific requirements.
The types of advisory services available include:
- Business Analysis – aimed at assisting organisations examine the potential and benefits of IT solutions to their specific business objectives, operations and environment. The outcome of this would entail the drawing of an IT solutions plan for the organisation identifying the type of solutions needed for the organisation.
- IT Audits – General IT audits are carried out in order to assess whether an organisation’s systems meet the requirements and expectations which were originally laid out and whether these are actually meeting the current and expected operational objectives of organisation. Issues such as uptime, running costs, user and client satisfaction, resilience, sector-specific regulatory compliance, software licencing validation and technology maturity.
- Risk Audits – One of key advisory areas handled by MCIT is that of Risk Audits whereby an organisation’s system or subsystem is assessed against any possible risk related to data and application security, business continuity, user activity, computer and network misuse and other areas specific to the systems under review. The advice is aimed at not only assessing the systems for any particular vulnerability but especially to provide solutions to mitigate any identified risks.
- Site Surveys – Site surveys are carried out on the physical locations operated by the client in order to carry out assessments as to the specific requirements for one or more of the following four areas: network and communications infrastructure, physical location of IT systems and especially server rooms or datacentres, power infrastructure and

Implementation Services
MCIT provides clients with a full range of implementation services ranging from the installation of IT hardware and software to the actual laying out of network, power, security, communications and datacentre solutions.
MCIT offers a full turnkey service which includes the completion of all civil works including the laying of power and network trunking, clearing of debris, plastering / painting and even the supply and installation of office furniture and equipment as may be required and which may vary from site to site. It is important that in order to ensure compliance with client expectations, a full statement of works is drawn up and agreed on between the client and MCIT.
IT Management Services
MCIT can provide on-site technical resources – on a full or part-time basis – to clients needing an extra level of support during the initial phases of the operation and administration of new systems. The level and type of support can be tailored to client requirements and is an ideal solution particularly in instances where client resources may be still in training.

Service and Support

In fact, MCIT is fully certified as a Dell Authorised Service Provider which entails the regular auditing of MCIT’s technical facilities, resources, stock of spares and results by Dell Engineers and Auditors.
As part of its range of services, apart from warranty validation services, MCIT offers a full range of Service Level Agreement options for its clients on a contractual basis which may include the provision of standby, reserved units in the case of any equipment faults requiring a return to MCIT for repairs but also guaranteed response times even after-hours and during weekends and holidays.
This level of support is not limited to Dell equipment only but also to any other system and solution offered by MCIT.
